Dear Chhairo Gompa friends

Sorry for the long gap but now we are back online and can update you on the goings on at the gompa.

Last autumn the painting was completed and Shashi Dhoj consecrated the gyalpo and the two protector statues were moved up into their shrine.

The old kitchen where many of you have had your meals was demolished, and a new ground floor rebuilt providing a larger kitchen and dining area with a toilet and handwashing facilities. The work stopped for the winter and this year we will build the first floor – providing 3 guest rooms and improved security to our compound with a higher front facade.
